Those cases have gently rounded tops, ogee under top moldings which disguise secret drawers, fluted pilasters, and bracket base rails with softly molded profiles. There are three beds to choose from: a timeless all wood sleigh bed with raised panel effects and fluted posts, a stunning platform sleigh bed with softly padded Belgian linen panel in the headboard, and lovely poster bed with sinuous cap rail featuring a center key block, and raised panel effect on both the headboard and footboard. While French Market has all the hallmarks of fabulous European design, it contains the elements which make a Vaughan-Bassett Elite bedroom so attractive to today’s consumer: top quality construction, including finished drawer interiors riding on the finest self-closing ball bearing guides in the industry. Crafted by artisans in southern Virginia, Rustic Hills is an oversized traditional bedroom collection by Vaughan-Bassett. The group, made of solid hard woods and pine veneers, is available in three different finish options. All case pieces feature serpentine shaped tops, drawer fronts, and base rails. They have wide chamfered pilasters, and each drawer front is adorned with traditional ring pulls. There are two bed options in Rustic Hills. The first is an oversized mansion bed that features 5 ½ inch wide posts, and an arching cap rail that compliments the tops of each case piece. The second bed option is a traditionally styled sleigh bed, with oversized frames on both the headboard and footboard. Both beds can be paired with our optional storage footboard, and each serve as a great focal point in any bedroom.
